Church Ministry

About Us

Our Mission: To boldly live out faith in Jesus through worship, fellowship, and service to God and our neighbor, here and around the world.

Our Vision: Guided by prayer and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, St. Mark Lutheran welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds, to be fed and forgiven as we meet Jesus at the table, and to participate together in making Jesus known to all.

St. Mark Lutheran Church has been blessed with pastors who have honored their calls through the power of the Holy Spirit to: preach and teach God’s Word in accordance with the Holy Scriptures and Confessions of the Lutheran Church, administer the sacraments, lead worship and proclaim God’s forgiveness, provide pastoral care, raise up leaders in the faith, equip disciples, and encourage the work of this congregation and the wider church.

St. Mark is a place where God’s people gather for worship, grow in faith, enjoy one another and find meaning for their lives by loving and serving the needs of others. If this sounds exciting to you, please know that you are invited to come, visit, browse, participate and share in the faith community here at St. Mark. We are the body of Christ that gives of our gifts, resources and time to share the love of God outside of our walls. Our daily lives are the mission field that we enter into after worship supported by God’s word, holy supper, prayers and fellowship.

St. Mark Lutheran Church is a faith community of 129 members and friends, existing for the purposes of:  worshipping our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, and sharing his love with the world.  St. Mark’s congregational design is in place to serve God through ministry teams that focus on Worship, Outreach, Fellowship, Service, Congregational Care and Children Youth and Family. It is a congregation of the Lutheran Confessional Foundation, Islamabad-Pakistan.

Our Team

St. Mark’s staff supports everyday ministry, working together as a team, with all the members of St. Mark. We encourage and support members in their ministry through fellowship, worship, service, outreach, and discipleship. Please see a staff member to help you connect at St. Mark through a variety of ministries and programs.

Pastor Hannan Paul Naeem

I grew up in Iqbal Town, Islamabad, Pakistan, where my parents and brothers all continue to live.  I worked for the hospital in a Pharmacy Department for several years before I joined Riga Luthera Academy in 2021 to become a student with a team of 9 students from Pakistan

I have been an ordained pastor for almost three years now and have served the same community where I grew up.  Some of my passions are the great energy that children bring through learning Catechism and Liturgy, my church not just inside of the building, but also outside of the building.  I also love sharing the Word and nourishing God’s people with the sacraments. I enjoy watching sports, enjoying the life of being a pastor and a faithful husband, and a father of a son and two daughters.

Pastoral Care @ St. Mark Lutheran Church (LCF)

The pastors at St. Mark Lutheran Church would love to walk with you in your joys and challenges of life. We visit or accompany member who are hospitalized.

We also can provide end of life pastoral care and funeral planning. Our goal is to share God’s love and peace with you. Whatever you face in life, you do not have to face it alone, we are here to pray with you.

Groups and Ministries:

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they all come from the same Spirit. There are different ways to serve the same Lord, and we can each do different things. The Spirit has given each of us a special way of serving others.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7

God gives each of us unique interests and talents that are meant to be used and shared with one another. These gifts provide endless possibilities for us to be God’s hands and feet here on earth. St. Mark  Lutheran Church offers a wide variety of opportunities to serve within the church, our community, and around the world. Members of all ages are welcome and encouraged to serve.  If you are unsure where to use your spiritual gifts or what opportunities there are at St. Mark , take a few minutes to browse through the different ministry teams.
